PGCS continued our partnership with Shred-it Mobile Shedding Services to
provide two opportunities for the public to shred their personal documents free
of charge. Both these events were well
received by the public and kept the shredding truck very busy. Look for our
Spring Shred-It Event on April 29th 2017!
As part of Crime Stopper month, join us at one of these events to learn
more about the program and to enter for a chance to win a $200 Gift Certificate to Winston’s Resto Bar from the Coast Inn
of The North and PG Crime Stoppers!:
- We’ll be at the Prince George Spruce Kings
game at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena on Friday January 13th
as they take on the Chilliwack Chiefs. Enter our draw to win a $200 gift certificate from Winston’s Resto bar at the
end of Crime Stoppers Month.
- On Saturday January 14th, we’ll be at the Northern Sport Centre cheering on the UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball teams as they take on the Mount Royal University of Calgary. Women tip off at 5:00 pm and the men at 7:00 pm. Enter our draw to win a $200 gift certificate from Winston’s Resto bar at the end of Crime Stoppers Month.
- On Saturday January 20th, we’ll be at CN Centre to cheer on the Prince George Cougars as they battle the Moose Jaw Warriors. Come say hi to win $200 Gift Certificate to Winston’s Resto Bar from the Coast Inn of The North and PG Crime Stoppers!
The Board of Directors of Prince George Crime Stoppers Society would like to thank the citizens of Prince George and surrounding areas for continuing to provide vital information that has led to arrests and seizures in 2016. The Board would also like to thank the hard working and dedicated members of the RCMP in Prince George and neighbouring communities for continuing to support this worthwhile program.
There are three ways to submit a tip to Prince George Crime Stoppers:
- The traditional method of calling 1-800-222-8477 and providing information to an operator is still very popular;
- As an increasingly popular alternative, you can submit a typed tip via our website at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca;
- The third method of submitting a tip is by SMS texting. You can simply text “PGTIPS” and the information you wish to provide, to 274637 from any cellular phone or device with SMS capability.
When providing
tips, please be as detailed as possible and remember we don't want your name, just your information.
All three methods are completely anonymous.
One of many Crime
Stopper programs throughout the country, Prince George Crime Stoppers is a
proud partnership of the local media, police and residents of BC's northern capital. Prince George Crime Stoppers is
a not-for-profit society run independently of the police by everyday citizens
like you. All information received is
anonymous and is provided to the police in the hopes it will further
investigations and lead to arrests, seizures and recovered property.
